Drop in Band Practice

MEI offers weekly workshops for young people aged 13-18 to explore their passion for playing in bands and writing music.
Led by enthusiastic and highly experienced tutors, the sessions are fun and interactive. Whether you are just starting on an instrument or have played for some years, these weekly sessions will give you an opportunity to play or sing your favourite songs together with others.

Music Education Islington’s (MEI) Music Centres are an after-school community where young people can get together to learn music, play in a group and make friends. We have various courses to suit (almost) every age and every level of experience, with varied programmes of group lessons, individual lessons, choir and ensembles that take place at various schools across Islington.
